What are we looking at? I bet they are wondering the same thing about us. When life forces meet....
This thread keeps getting longer and longer....the more I pull, the more this concept and my deep fascination grows. The evolved jellyfish, on all levels, is the unearthing of something beyond this time and space. It sounds so cryptic and to anyone that isn't me I probably sound insane but I guess there is an 'artistic bigger picture' within these works and over time hopefully, as I understand it more, it too will be revealed. =)
The beginning of the next...new artwork collection page added under Art! =)
Exploring the space between the ocean and the universe xxx
Has a new species of marine life just been discovered on land?
Is this just the beginning of more ancient deep sea discoveries to come? xxx
It's been a long while since I have added anything but so much has happened in between....
The journey is evolving and here are a few of the outcomes xx
Turning a negative into positive.....xxx
Nothing looks quite as it seems and within that lies the beauty of it all =)
My latest piece is finally finished....dynamic and wild! I love creating underwater abstract scenes and utilising heaps of colour, layers and textures xxx
Love to hear your thoughts! =)
Artwork will be uploaded for purchase shortly and prints are available upon request =)
Art for me is something where you don’t always know why.... can’t always be understood logically....and often isn't easily explained in words. Sometimes the magic of a piece is the journey leading to it's creation and the 'ah-ha' moments that were made getting there. The artwork itself is a cumulation of thought and life experiences intertwined with artistic expression and creativity.
Ironically that’s why I love it. It’s the one place I have to step back. I'm unable to influence people’s opinion of it, don’t have to explain or justify anything and can roll with my intuition and inspiration instead of always being logical and 'understood'. I personally am drawn to creating imaginative, expressive and challenging pieces that evoke discussion and explore concepts beyond this existence. It doesn’t always make sense to people at first glance or perhaps at all. But art for me is an evolution of questions, stories, experiences, emotions and wonder. I don’t always know what it is I am saying specifically at first but as I create the conversation is lead through my work and it ends up exactly where I wanted to go. I know why and what I am saying and the messages I want to convey are both obvious and hidden.
My true words are within the artwork and they are reaching out to be engaged. If you look deeper there is a world of conversation in there just not as you know it. xxx
